GreenTech Industries collects as little personal information as possible, and uses what it does collect for one purpose: responding to you.
Who we are
Green Tech Industries Ltd, trading as GreenTech Industries (GTI). Registered in England & Wales, company number 14186177. Registered office: Millhouse, 32–38 East Street, Rochford, Essex SS4 1DB. For anything in this policy: hello@gti.systems.
What we collect, and why
Enquiries. When you use the contact form or email us, we hold your name, work email, phone number, company, role, and whatever you tell us in your message. We use it to answer your enquiry and route it to the right person on the team. The lawful basis is legitimate interest: you asked, we're responding.
Careers. If you apply for a role, we hold your application and CV to run the recruitment process. Unsuccessful applications are deleted within six months unless you ask us to keep your details for future roles.
The industry briefing. If you opt in, we hold your email address, the form you gave it on, and the date you gave it. We use it to send one email a month on battery circularity, second-life storage, and the policy shaping it. The lawful basis is consent, and consent is the only thing that puts you on the list. The box is never ticked for you, and asking us something is not the same as asking to hear from us.
That's the list. We don't buy data, sell data, or add you to marketing lists you didn't ask for.
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as the conversation and any business relationship that follows need it, then deleted.
Briefing subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Every email carries an unsubscribe link, one click ends it, and we keep a record of the original opt-in for as long as we are sending to you. That record is what evidences the consent.
Who sees it
The GTI team, and the service providers that run our email and website hosting, acting under contract as processors. Nobody else.
Your rights
UK data protection law gives you the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict how it's used, and to receive a copy of it. Email hello@gti.systems and we'll act on it. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
We use Google Analytics (GA4), loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how the site is used, including which pages people read and how they find us, so we can make it better. Those are analytics cookies. We only set them once you've agreed: accept or decline when you arrive, and change your mind whenever you like. We don't run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Embedded videos still use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, which sets no cookies unless you press play. (Google Search Console, which shows us how the site performs in search, sets no cookies on this site.)
